International missing children's day

On May 25th, 2010 at the RCMP Musical Ride Visitor Centre the RCMP Foundation partnered with Ogilvy Renault to host an International Missing Children’s Day event.

This year’s event showcased the excellent work of Mr. Jean-Marc Lesage from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, recipient of the Air Canada Kids Horizons/RCMP Child Recovery Award. This award of excellence recognizes the work and efforts of a Canadian individual and/or organization in the search for and safe recovery of missing children. The work of Mr. Lesage and countless other people often goes unseen and unrecognized. We are proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Lesage.

We are grateful to Ogilvy Renault and to Air Canada for making this day a success and for helping to advance child safety throughout the world.
